Like posting on Instagram or Facebook? Want to help spread the word about what we do?
We’re looking for one or two people to support our small communications team by creating or suggesting content for our social media channels..
You don’t have to be a digital expert — just someone who enjoys sharing ideas, stories, or events and wants to help others discover what Transition Chesterfield is all about.
What You Might Do:
- Share a photo and a few lines about a project you care about
- Suggest prompts that spark local discussion (“What’s your favourite reuse tip?”)
- Help draft or schedule short, friendly posts (we’ll show you how)
- Post occasional reminders about upcoming events or workshops
Whether you’re drawn to sustainable fashion, growing food, energy-saving, repair cafés or just want to boost general participation, we’d love your voice.
Time Commitment:
Flexible — as little as 30 mins a week. Remote or in-person support available.
Where:
Anywhere — this can be done from home.
Support Available:
You’ll join a friendly team and be supported to grow into the role. We can guide you through tools like Meta Business Suite, and you can post under our shared account.
Who It’s For:
Anyone with enthusiasm for community-led practical action to improve our environment. Students, creatives, someone seeking more experience in social media, writers — all welcome.
