Local action for a thriving, sustainable future

Transition Chesterfield is a community-led initiative tackling the challenges of climate change and resource depletion at a local level.

We believe that by coming together, sharing skills, and supporting practical solutions, we can create a stronger, more sustainable Chesterfield for everyone.

Why we exist

We imagine a resilient and thriving Chesterfield, where people work together to create a sustainable future for all.

We’re working towards this future by empowering individuals and communities to take positive action on climate change and resource use. Through practical projects, collaboration, and education, we help make Chesterfield a greener, fairer place to live.
