Transition Chesterfield

Derbyshire County Council are submitting a £5 million bid  to the government’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund  for a project which covers the districts of Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire  to:

•          Improve access to employment, education and training

•          Increase the number of people travelling by sustainable modes

Transition Chesterfield have written a letter of support and the County welcomes responses from individuals which provides support or provides evidence or data relating to transport problems and their proposed initiatives.  You can send your comments directly to Richard Lovell at richard.lovell@derbyshire.gov.uk or to Lisa Hopkinson at workshop@transitionchesterfield.org.uk by 11th April latest.
