Transition Chesterfield

Liz would like to create a directory or map of local independent shops and she'd like someone (or some people) to join her to help create a dream team for the job! The idea is to create a booklet and/or map of Chesterfield featuring local independent shops.

 

The map or directory could also include useful organisations such as the Volunteer Centre, and perhaps other things like local eco-buildings and allotments. It sounds like quite a big task, but could be put together gradually, so needn't be overwhelming. It might be an online directory, and/or a printed paper directory/map.

 

If you're interested in helping out with creating the map or directory, please let us know and we can put you all in touch with each other and see what happens...

 

A few folk have already come forward with some excellent ideas and offers of help, but it's definitely not too late to get involved!

 

If you have any other Transition-related ideas or projects you'd like to get off the ground, do shout up and we can post a message out to the mailing lists and on to this website to help recruit some volunteers or resources or information or whatever it is that you need - that's what Transition is all about!
