Eco-renovation tours
Monday 17th August, 6pm-9pm
Ashgate and Stonegravels
Join us for a tour of two ordinary houses in Chesterfield to pick up loads of ideas and information on how to save energy, cut your fuel bills and eco-renovate your home.
The audits will include ideas and information on:
- heating systems, insulation, appliances, draught-proofing, renewable energy and more
- likely costs, carbon savings, and payback times
- products, suppliers, installers and DIY options
We'll be visiting two different houses that are fairly typical of housing stock in Chesterfield, so at least one of them is likely to be similar in some way to your house. We will audit a 1928 semi-detached house with cavity walls, on Ashgate Road, and an 1890s mid-terrace house near Chesterfield College. We'll also have a bite to eat in between the two tours, and opportunity for you to ask Nick any questions about your own home.
We're limiting the numbers to 10 people on the tour, so that everyone can see and hear and get a chance to ask questions.
Booking is essential - to secure your place now, call Jessie on 01246 234899 or email jessiemarcham[at]pasturesgreen.me.uk.
Cost is great value £3 per person, including food.
If you would like more information about the tours, or if you have any questions, please just get in touch.
Many thanks to everyone who volunteered their homes to be part of this event. Unfortunately we couldn't include them all, but we hope there may be more opportunities in the future...
We are grateful to the Energy Saving Trust advice centre in Nottingham for support this event. Have a look at the EST website for lots of information on saving energy at home -
