Transition Chesterfield

A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the Inkerman Buzz such a success yesterday. We had over 600 visitors during the day, and feedback and comments on the day were very positive. I really enjoyed seeing bicycles and trailers of all shapes and sizes whizzing around the park as we were setting up; the bunting fluttering in the breeze; and then so many people people meeting friends, sharing stories about the park, picnicking, chatting and exploring the stalls.

 

 

We were blessed with reasonable weather (especially considering recent downpours and gale force winds!), some wonderful stallholders and a fantastic team of volunteers. Everyone who painted signs, sewed bunting, staffed stalls, put up gazebos, transported barbecues, played music, handed out programmes, delivered fliers, cooked sausages, dressed up, or just came along to enjoy the day played an important role, so - well done all!
