Introduction

The Energy & Water Team is a new team specialising in energy management within the Council’s portfolio.  The team is made up of four posts headed up by the Council’s Energy Manager and includes a dedicated officer for schools and non-schools sites.   By sourcing environmental and energy focused individuals to the team we aim to increase the efficiency of the Council and identify key energy and financial savings, within schools, housing and other building stock.

The vacancy offers the opportunity to make a difference within Brighton & Hove by identifying high usage sites and developing projects that can assist in making savings and subsequently reducing the carbon footprint of the Council.

We are looking for a dedicated and focused member of staff that can add to the dynamic of the team and someone who has the drive to provide essential support to the team and with the drive to assist with projects that can achieve energy savings. 

Please note this is a fixed-term contract for six months
